Golf Tournament … Dinner, Silent & Live Auction Gala
Southwest Florida Family Businesses Foundation, Inc. (a non-profit Charity) is pleased to announce the 4th annual “Breaking Par at Grandezza” Event to be held April 16th and 17th,2016 at The Club at Grandezza. All net proceeds from the event will help support Junior Achievement (in-class) programs in public and charter schools in Southwest Florida, to also help fund the CEO Academy Class of 2016 as well as grants for other local-area educational needs. CEO Academy is a week-long summer camp fostered by Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida and Lutgert College of Business at FGCU. CEO Academy prepares young, aspiring high school entrepreneurs to become outstanding business leaders and CEO’s of tomorrow.
With financial contributions from a full field of golfers and proceeds from the Live & Silent Auction, the charity event has raised more than $150,000 in net proceeds in three years under the leadership of Jim Shields, and Jim will continue to work with the foundation on the event for years to come. Grandezza Neighborhood Volunteers together with Southwest Florida Family Businesses Foundation, Inc. have formed a partnership to make the 2016 event the best ever. The Dinner, Live & Silent Auction will be held Saturday evening. Shotgun Scramble will be 8:30 a.m. Sunday followed by event buffet and awards ceremony (Event emcee will be Clay Miller, NBC-2 Anchor).
